It is November! Hello November!
To prepare for Thanksgiving I am having my five-year old keep a Book of Thanks. Each day there will be something for her to specifically be grateful for, and she gets to draw a picture of it and color it. My daughter LOVES things like this. She can spend a couple of hours just working on anything that requires drawing, coloring, cutting and gluing. Here are some of the things to be thankful for that are included in her Book of Thanks: My home, my school, my teachers, my friends, my food, my clothes, my sister, etc. I also left a few pages blank so she can choose what to be thankful for. Does your little child enjoy drawing and coloring? If so, this is a really easy thing to make! All you need are, construction paper, this template, and this, scissors, glue, and a stapler. And it's not just for kids, adults can keep a Book of Thanks, too! What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving season? Join us and let's count our blessings together! |
